Palácio Conde DÓbidos is one of a kind. Housing the Portuguese Red Cross Headquarters, the palace is steeped in history. It is a rare gem that is centrally located in Lisbon but has space for large parties and small parties alike. For those who want an exclusive, historical wedding, this is a stellar option for you.

The first thing you notice is the gorgeous, original tiling that the building is covered with. Tiling is also weaved into the main rooms so you are constantly surrounded by pure Portuguese antique charm. Olivia’s favorite room is the library. It is a truly stunning space that can be used as a ceremony space or to take photographs. From there, you have the spellbinding terrace that is both intimate and spacious. You can host your meal there for smaller parties, your ceremony or your cocktail hour.

What we love most about this venue, besides the original antique artefacts, is the versatility. It is rare for old buildings to be so flexible with their ways of doing things. Historical venues tend to be quite fixed in how you use spaces, but this palace is very customizable indeed. In the summer, autumn, winter, or spring, this venue shines brightly as an exclusive, unique venue. We’re sure you’ll love it as much as we do!
